Fun Fact Friday: My Editing Style - Moody, Timeless & Full of Feeling

One of the most common questions I get as a photographer is: “What’s your editing style like?” And honestly, I love this question—because editing is where the magic really comes to life and helps me tell your story the way it feels.

I photograph all of my sessions during golden hour, that dreamy time right before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and full of glow. It’s hands-down the best light for capturing genuine, connected moments—it wraps your family in the prettiest natural tones and makes everything feel just a little more magical.

When it comes to editing, I’d describe my style as moody, nostalgic, and heartfelt. I add a touch of grain for that soft, timeless feel—like a photo you’d find in an old family album. It’s not just about how the photo looks—it’s about how it feels. My goal is for you to look at your images and feel all the emotion of that moment all over again.

Even with a moodier edit, my tones stay true to color and flattering on skin. Your images will be rich and full of depth, but never overly filtered or trendy. Skin tones remain natural and glowing every detail is edited with intention. The result? Flawless, timeless, emotion-filled images that will never go out of style.

These photos aren’t just for your Instagram feed—they’re for your walls, your albums, your memories. They're the kind of images that will still bring you joy 20 years from now.

So if you're drawn to photos that feel warm, moody, and full of heart—I just might be the photographer for you.
